WLQP Announces Partnership with NHS Wellbeing and Recovery College

Updated: Jan 15

The West London Queer Project is partnering with the NHS West London Trust Wellbeing and Recovery College, the educational arm of the NHS, to provide mental health and wellbeing workshops for the LGBTQ+ Community.

The Wellbeing & Recovery College is a training and resource centre which develops and delivers mental, emotional and physical health education for people who live, work and or study in Ealing, H&F and Hounslow.

The partnership launches this month with three interactive mental health taster workshops which are being held at the Chiswick Cinema in the London Borough of Hounslow.

The initial workshops have been designed to be informative and interactive, but also an opportunity for WLQP and the college to understand and to gain insight into what the LGBTQ+ Community's needs are and how they can be connected to the correct services.

Aubrey Crawley, the founder of WLQP said, "We are committed to improving the lives of West London's LGBTQ+ Community, so I am thrilled to be partnering with the NHS Wellbeing and Recovery College. As this is our first official foray into mental health offerings, it is imperative that the workshops are interactive, and an opportunity for us to understand our community's needs. This way we will be better informed with connecting and facilitating mental health and wellness offerings."
