All Gender LGBTQ+ Football

There was something quite beautiful about tonight’s football session. As we played, the leaves had already started to appear across the pitch, perhaps a little earlier than we’d like, but a gentle reminder that the seasons are beginning to change. 🍂⚽

It also made us realise that we’re now eight months into our football programme. Eight months of people turning up, friendships forming, confidence growing and a group of strangers slowly becoming a community.

From the beginning, we wanted to create something a little different: football that is all-gender, welcoming and genuinely open to everyone. A space where it doesn’t matter who you are, how you identify, how old you are, or whether you’ve played football your whole life or are kicking a ball for the very first time.

As one season begins to give way to another, it feels like we’re only just getting started.

And the more we watch this little football community grow, the more we believe this really is the beginning of something beautiful. 🌈⚽🍂
