Thank You

wlqp

Before the year is through, Joe and I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to all our friends, followers, volunteers, partners and sponsors for all your love and support, and for continuing to show-up throughout the past 12 months.

There are way too many amazing people to thank individually but you know who you are, and we are very grateful for everything that you have done for WLQP. It’s been your collective love, energy and enthusiasm that has allowed us to continue to grow and to flourish.

2023 Has been another amazing year for us and looking back we have so many incredible memories and highlights, in fact there are so many that we decided to list just our top ten.

In no particular order,

The West London Warriors were officially formed in January, and on top of the monthly taster sessions, the Warriors are in training every week. They also took part in the Pride in Touch League up in Glasgow in August.

Phyllida Lloyd, the Director of Mamma Mia coming along to intro our sing-along at the Chiswick Cinema.

Officially partnering with Brentford Football Club and the Brentford LGBeeTs to bring you football 101 skills sessions.

With much hype and controversy, our 4 Pride Crossing were unveiled in Chiswick.

Being invited to the Mayor of London’s Pride Month Reception at City Hal.

Our make-up workshop for Trans+ Women sponsored by MAC Cosmetics.

Breaking records, with over 300 of you attending our ‘Pride Month 10 Walk & Celebration’ in aid of Motor Neurone Disease, and over 200 of you attending our ‘Queer Comedy Christmas Special’.

Our series of West London Walks grew bigger than ever with 528 of you joining us throughout 2023!

We would love to hear what your highlights were?

With Special thanks to our Sponsors and Partners
