About the event

Our final West London walk of the year will take place this weekend, on Saturday 17 December.

We will be meeting outside Richmond station at 9:45am, and setting off on the walk at 10am. If you are running late on the day, please do let us know, either by messaging us through Instagram or via our website - otherwise we will be leaving promptly at 10am.

We will be taking the beautifully scenic river walk from Richmond to Kingston, passing by the magestic Ham House as well as many beautiful river spots along the way, before finishing up at Kingston Christmas Market.

The walk itself is just over 8km and we expect that it will take around 2 hours, and when we get to Kingston everyone is free to browse the Christmas Market stalls or join us for a drink or a bite to eat at one of the many bars and restaurants in this beautiful riverside town.

The weather forecast for the day is dry, but very cold, so please do wrap up warm for the walk.

Please take into account the industrial action that is due to take place this weekend which will impact train and some district line tube services. Our meeting point at Richmond station can be reached by bus from most West London locations including Ealing and Brentford (65); Hammersmith and Chiswick (110 and 190) and Hounslow (H37).

For the return journey from Kingston, the 65 bus leaves from Kingston town centre and returns to Richmond as well as continuing on to Kew Bridge and Ealing Broadway where you can change for other bus routes if necessary.

This is sure to be a wonderfully festive walk, and look forward to seeing you all on Saturday
