About the event
Our next Book Club will be centred around Villa Coco by Andrew Sean Greer, first published in 2026. Our Book Club meet up will take place in the upstairs private function room at The Crown & Anchor pub on Chiswick High Road.
We suggest that everyone who would like to join our Book Club on this date purchases the book (either electronically or physically), and comes prepared to talk about the book. Even if you started reading but didn’t finish, you are still welcome to join, but please be aware that discussions can cover all aspects of the book, including the ending.
About the book:
Broke and directionless, our young protagonist takes a job in the Italian countryside as the assistant to Lisabetta - better known to her friends as Coco - a strong-willed, wealthy aristocrat of great local renown.
Trained as an archivist, he thinks he's been hired to…
